| Who are we? The Carolina Jaybirds are a North Carolina-based "Flight" of the Jayco Jafari International Camping Club. We camp together one weekend each month (except January, when we usually go to Myrtle Beach and stay in a hotel) somewhere in North Carolina or nearby in South Carolina or Virginia. We often camp together on additional "unofficial" weekends and a yearly trip lasting a week or longer. We are a diverse group--all ages, parents, grandparents, retirees, and ones who wish we were retired! We enjoy shopping, eating, playing dominoes, sitting around campfires passing around a bag of peanuts, having fun together and much more. We have become one large extended family. |
