As we've gone to Walt Disney World so often lately, we've found some things that we absolutely LOVE -- our favorites! Here is a list of some of our Favorite Things at Walt Disney World.
Whispering Canyon Cafe - Located in the Wilderness Lodge. This restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat skillet served family-style, with wonderful, hearty food. What is the most fun, though, is the interaction with the wait staff! We were laughing so hard we almost couldn't eat at times. Ask for the ketchup! Our waiter was WONDERFUL. His name was Sergio, aka Señor Dusty Trails. See our pictures here.
Beaches and Cream - Located at the Beach Club resort (check out the sand-bottomed pool!), this is a 50's style diner with good music, great atmosphere, and the absolute best hamburgers on property. Great onion rings, too. It is best known, however, for the Kitchen Sink. The Kitchen Sink is a large "kitchen sink" shaped bowl full of every ice cream flavor and every topping they have. An entire can of whipped cream. An entire jar of cherries. Melted peanut butter, chocolate sauce, caramel, chunks of candy bars, pieces of brownies, hunks of angel food cake. Seven of us working together ALMOST finished it.
