We left Charlotte, NC after work on Friday. Of course, we had packed as much as possible in the camper the night before, but there were still a few things to pack. The parents arrived to see us off, and to make sure we had hooked up the camper correctly. They were a bit paranoid since this was only our second trip in the new camper!

With excited cheers, we eagerly set off on our long-awaited Disney trip. We had the Disney CD's playing and were on our way only to get stuck in Charlotte's rush hour traffic.

Finally on our way, we found ourselves stopping every two hours to put gas in the Durango. Janet, the camper owner and driver, has an uncanny ability to pull up to the gas pump at the exact moment the low gas indicator rings.

We arrived at the Savannah South KOA around 10:30 pm. Luckily, the swarms of mosquitoes that attacked us the last time we camped there were nowhere to be seen. We quickly set up the camper without unhooking the truck and went to bed.
